Bible Passage: – Deuteronomy 7:1-2, Genesis 13:14-15 & Joshua 1:3
- In the beginning God Created with the words of His mouth
- God created by speaking the universe to being:
Genesis 1:1-3:- “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
- And God said, let there be light: and there was light.”
- God showed an example of creation by the word
John 1:1-5:- “1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 The same was in the beginning with God.
3 All things were made by him (i.e. The word); and without him was not anything made that was made.
- In him (The word) was life; and the life was the light of men.
- And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.”
- In the same “Word” was life which is the light of men to overcome darkness.
- We are also in a new territory and we need to take it over in the spirit realm for the gospel of Christ as His ambassadors here on earth.
- 1 Corinthians 10:11: – “Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.”
- Romans 15:4: – “For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.”
- God promised our father Abraham to see and possess the land.
Genesis 13:14-15:- “And the LORD said unto Abram, after that Lot was separated from him, Lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward:
15 For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed forever.”
No wonder people say “What you can’t see, you can’t get.”
- Likewise, God has promised to give us wherever the souls of our feet shall step
Joshua 1:3: – “Every place that the sole of your foot shall tread upon, that have I given unto you, as I said unto Moses.”
- We have the covenant of Abraham as Abraham’s seed
Galatians 3:28-29:- “There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.
29 And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.”
Genesis 15:18: – “In the same day the LORD made a covenant with Abram, saying, unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates:”
- Though, God has given the land to us, we still have to move in and possess it.
Deuteronomy 1:8: – “Behold, I have set the land before you: go in and possess the land which the LORD swore unto your fathers, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give unto them and to their seed after them.”
- If we do not take possession, somebody or something else will take charge.
Even in Uk there is something called squatter’s right. (Explain)
Galatians 4:1-3:- “Now I say, That the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all;
2 But is under tutors and governors until the time appointed of the father.
3 Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the world:”
- We have to demand and take our rights by force.
Matthew 11:12: – “And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force. “
- We have to act on our faith like Caleb to possess the land, though, the giants may be in the land.
Numbers 29-30:- “The Amalekites dwell in the land of the south: and the Hittites, and the Jebusites, and the Amorites, dwell in the mountains: and the Canaanites dwell by the sea, and by the coast of Jordan.
30 And Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it.”
So, how shall we take the territory for God and the gospel of Christ?
- By seeing and taking it over, i.e. Virtualize it in possession.
- By walking on the territory – Own it by covenant.
- By possessing it with our mouth, i.e. speaking it to be or decreeing and declaring it to be.
Already, – We have seen this location.
- We have walked over the grounds.
- We now need to possess it by declaration.
Genesis 1:28: – “Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it.” (Note the wordings, God did not say he will do it for us. If its going to be, it’s up to us)
- Luke 19:13: – “Occupy till I come.”
Ephesians 6:12-14:- “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;”
Job 22:27-28:- “Thou shalt make thy prayer unto him, and he shall hear thee, and thou shalt pay thy vows. (Division of labour)
28 Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways.” (Note, the conjunction “And” the light shall shine…)
Song: – We are able to go up
And take the country
And possess the land
From Jordan to the sea
Though the giants may be there
Our way to hinder
Our God has given us the victory!
Prayer points: –
2Chromicles 7:14: – “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. “(There is also a division of labour here, we will pray, and God will do it)
- Prayer: – Father, we thank you because you always answer us whenever we call upon your name. We thank you because you have never left nor forsaken us. We shall forever be grateful to you Lord.
Philippians 4:6-7:- “Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
- And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”
- Prayer: – We pray that the gospel will penetrate wherever the gospel has not yet reached. We pray that all those who are still in darkness will see the light of the gospel in Jesus’ name.
Mark 16:15-16:- “And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.”
- Prayer: – Father, I pray that just like you delivered the city of Nineveh when they repented, this area, Sunlight Centre and Richmond Road and its environment will also receive Jesus Christ and confess Him as their Lord and Savior in Jesus’ name
Jonah 1:1-2:- “Now the word of the LORD came unto Jonah the son of Amittai, saying,
2 Arise, go to Nineveh, that great city, and cry against it; for their wickedness is come up before me.”
- Prayer: – Father, we pray that just as you gave Abraham the land of Canaan, we take over all the territories that are still in darkness for the Lord in Jesus’ name.
- Prayer: – Father, we intercede for all the people in this area that are following the steps of Sodom and Gomorrah and we pray that you will save them from the way of perdition by your mercy. We pray that they will turn back to God in Jesus’ name.
- Prayer: – Father, we pray that your kingdom will come to my home, our church, to this area, to our town and to our nation in Jesus’ name. We pray that God’s will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
- Prayer: – Lord, put the fear of You into the hearts of those who oppose Your work in the environment and in this Kent”.
- Prayer: – Let the Judgment of God, come upon the ancient and scornful men, who rule over this town by sorcery, satanic manipulation and witchcraft powers, in Jesus’ name.
- Prayer: – We deprogram whatever the enemy has programmed into the lives of the people of this town, in the name of Jesus.
- Prayer: – By the blood of Jesus, we destroy every blood covenant made upon any satanic altar, that has brought untold hardships upon the people of this area, in the name of Jesus.
- Prayer: – We frustrate the tokens of liars and make mad all diviners, enchanters and sorcerers, who are operating against this town at any altar, in the name of Jesus.
- Prayer: – We desecrate every satanic altar in this area with the blood of Jesus and cancel all their associated covenants, in Jesus’ name.
- Prayer: – Every marine altar in this town, catch fire, in the name of Jesus.
- Prayer: – All territorial altars in this town, catch fire, in the name of Jesus.
- Prayer: – All astral altars, in this city, catch fire, in the name of Jesus.
- Prayer: – Every marine spirit, operating in this neighborhood, be paralyzed and suffocated, in the name of Jesus.
- Prayer: – We break every limitation brought on this town by the influence of satanic altars, in the name of Jesus.
- Prayer: – Every devoted land and evil forest, in this town, be demolished, in the name of Jesus.
- Prayer: -By the power in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, I command the citadel of the wicked forces to shift base from this city, in the name of Jesus.
